What is a Life Coach?
A life coach can be compared to an athletic coach. The athletic coach guides an athlete to achieve at their highest level at their sport, while a life coach guides an individual to achieve at their highest level in life. Regardless of your personal situation, every person in the world can benefit from a life coach!
Many times we get caught up in our own thought drama and can’t see the answers because we are too close to it. A life coach provides an objective vision that helps you look into your brain and figure out what needs attention and what could be disregarded. A life coach can help you examine your life through thoughtful discussions and introspect, determine needs, and then work with you
to set goals and make improvements.
Life Coaching is not therapy. Therapy helps an individual work through childhood trauma or a mental health diagnosis and may include medication. Life Coaching can be used in conjunction with, or after working with a therapist.
Almost everyone knows of areas in their life that can be improved but simply don’t recognize how to make those adjustments. A life coach can be that guide to help any person perform at their highest potential.
How your life can change when you can see your importance.
When you recognize your importance and self-worth, you can change your life for the better!
I can’t believe how much my life has changed in the last 5 years. It makes me sad, but for many years I didn’t realize that I was 100% worthy, spending so much time hating myself and thinking there was something wrong with me. I carried those feelings with me for too many years. Searching for answers, I started listening to a podcast that changed everything. It was hosted by a life coach and as I listened, I began to follow and live by what she was saying. It made a huge difference in everything, for the better!
She happened to have a life coach certification program and I realized I had to be trained so I could help others like I was helped. I never realized how I get to create my own life and that I have always been 100% worthy!
As I went through the program, I just kept wishing I had known this when I was a teenager. What a difference it could have made. Having spent my whole adult life working with young people in schools, I recognized a need for something else. I decided this was a way for me to reach even more young people and help them make a difference in their lives. The sky’s the limit and I can’t wait to share this with you!
